Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. The app works fully offline without an account. Signing in unlocks cloud sync and co-parenting, which are Premium features.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. On iPhone: Settings โ your name โ Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store โ profile โ Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are also handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
How do I share the app with a co-parent or childminder?
Go to Settings โ Children โ invite a co-parent by email. You control whether they get full access or read-only, and which children they can see. Invitations expire after 7 days and you can revoke access at any time.
Is my family's data private?
Yes. Data stays on your device unless you enable cloud sync, and we never sell personal information. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings โ About โ Delete Account. This removes your cloud data and account. Local data is removed when you delete the app.
Something isn't syncing between devices
- Check you're signed in with the same account on both devices
- Check your Premium subscription is active (Settings โ Sync)
- Make sure both devices are online, then pull down to refresh
If it still won't sync, email us with both device types and we'll investigate.
The AI assistant or lesson plan generator isn't responding
AI features need an internet connection and a signed-in account. If the problem persists, it's usually temporary โ try again in a few minutes, or contact us if it continues.
