Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Homeschool Hub AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms are a legally binding agreement between you and HelixGate Technologies Limited (trading as Homeschool Hub AI), a company registered in England & Wales, company no. 16676827.
Use of the App
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You agree not to misuse the app or help anyone else do so
Subscriptions
- Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
- You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies
Book Lookup Features
- ISBN barcode scanning uses your device camera
- Book information is retrieved from Open Library, a third-party service
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of book data
- Open Library's terms of service apply to book lookup functionality
Co-Parenting & Family Sharing
- You may invite other users to access your family data
- You control permissions (Full Access or Read Only) for each invited user
- You can set per-child sharing permissions
- Invitations expire after 7 days
- You can revoke access at any time
AI Features
- AI-generated lesson plans, suggestions, and images are provided as a starting point — review them before use with your children
- We apply child-safety filters to AI output, but we do not guarantee AI content is error-free
- The app assists with organisation; it does not replace your legal responsibility for your child's education
Intellectual Property
The app and its content are owned by HelixGate Technologies Limited. You retain ownership of the content you create in the app.
Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For UK residents, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
